专家报告简介:
1.Succeeding in the AI and Digital Era: How to Become AI-Proof Talent
Abstract: Are you AI-proof? As artificial intelligence and digital technologies rapidly reshape industries, professions, and decision-making, an important question arises for university graduates and future talent: what human capabilities will remain essential in an AI-driven world?
This seminar briefly reflects on the evolution of industrial revolutions and the expanding role of AI in transforming work and society. Rather than viewing AI as a competitor to humans, the talk highlights the fundamental differences between human intelligence and artificial intelligence, and how the two can complement each other.
Focusing on uniquely human strengths such as creativity, ethical judgement, contextual understanding, and meaning-making, the seminar explores how individuals can develop competences that complement AI technologies and position themselves as AI-proof talent in the digital era.
2.AI Empowering Teaching and Learning
Abstract: AI is revolutionising education, reshaping how students acquire knowledge and develop essential skills for an AI-driven future. This seminar presentation explores the transformative role of AI in education, emphasizing its ability to provide personalised, interactive, and efficient learning experiences.
AI-driven systems enhance knowledge acquisition through multimodal learning, automation of repetitive tasks, and real-time feedback. Beyond knowledge retention, AI supports the development of critical competencies such as problem-solving, creativity, and leadership, skills that remain uniquely human. Case studies in computer science education illustrate how AI integration in teaching fosters deeper learning by shifting focus from note memorisation to reasoning and application.
The presentation also examines the challenges of implementing AI in curricula, including ethical considerations, academic integrity, and effective pedagogical strategies. By addressing these concerns, educators can leverage AI to enhance learning without replacing the essential human elements of education.
